To avoid fulfillment delays, make sure your Shopify listings match what’s synced to Portless. A clean one-to-one match is key.
If you're updating SKUs or variants, update Portless too. This ensures we reflect those changes accurately and keep your operations running smoothly.
Important changes to notify Portless about:
If you make any of the following changes in your Shopify store, you must inform Portless:
SKU Changes. Modifying, adding, or removing SKUs.
Variant Title Changes. Updating the name of any variant.
Number of Variants. Adding or removing variants from a Portless-synced product.
Variant Option Name Changes. Renaming options (e.g., changing "XS" to "xs" or "Pink" to "Hot Pink").
Why this matters
Keeping Portless informed of product changes ensures:
Accurate sync between Shopify and our fulfillment system
Smooth processing of fulfillment requests
No delays or errors caused by mismatched SKUs or variant data
Failure to notify us of changes can lead to:
Sync errors
Declined fulfillment requests
Delayed or missed shipments
