Understanding the Portless Wholesale Pricing Card

This guide walks through the Portless Wholesale Pricing Card, including transit options, estimated timelines, and labor cost considerations.

Updated this week

The Portless Wholesale Pricing Card helps you estimate the shipping cost for wholesale orders based on the delivery method you choose. It’s a forecasting tool designed for quick, high-level estimates and does not include duties. Most merchants use this card to compare methods and make faster fulfillment decisions.

Note: The quote provided by our Wholesale Team covers shipping costs only and does not include any applicable taxes or duties.

Shipping methods available

There are three shipping options shown on the pricing card. Each offers different transit times and cost levels:

Method

Description

• Ships via our standard bulky line service

• Takes approximately six to ten business days

• Uses standard last-mile carriers

• Air freight via UPS

• Delivers in approximately three to six business days

• Sea freight using Matson fast boats

• Transferred to UPS for last-mile delivery

• Takes approximately twenty-one to twenty-eight business days

Labor costs explained

Labor costs are usually not billed for wholesale orders. However, if the order requires a labor-intensive process (such as special handling or repacking), the following rates apply:

  • $15/hour

  • The first four hours of labor are waived

You’ll only be billed if the handling exceeds four hours.

Optional: Using your own freight forwarder

If you can find more competitive rates with your own freight forwarder, you’re welcome to arrange for pickup. In that case, Portless will only charge you the labor cost, if applicable.

Should you wish to move forward with this option, refer to the Processing Wholesale Orders from Non-Bonded Warehouses page for step-by-step instructions. You’ll be able to request one of the following:

  • Creation of a wholesale order

  • A shipping quote

  • Pickup coordination with your freight forwarder
